Matt, an Aroostook County native, has a background in finance and has been involved in agriculture for many years, including work with the University of Maine Cooperative Extension & as a commercial loan officer for Farm Credit. In 2014, Matt returned to Maine from the Washington D.C. area. During his time in D.C. Matt served as an agriculture policy advisor to Senator Susan Collins, attended culinary arts school and worked to promote locally-grown food. He’s excited to be back in Maine working to expand marketing opportunities for Maine producers. Matt lives in Belfast.

Colleen has worked in agriculture in Maine for the past dozen years. Her work began while a student at Bates College, when she created a 40 producer network and delivery system of local foods to the Casco Bay Islands. Since that time, she has pursued a career path focused on value chain facilitation within the agricultural community in the northeast, through working as a distributor, farmhand, chef, educator, event planner and consultant. Her most recent role before becoming part of the UFH management team, was as the executive director of the Maine Federation of Farmers' Markets. Colleen lives in Freedom.
